Poor GPS signal

If you notice that your collar is showing Poor (0) satellites, please try the following steps to restore the connection. 


  1. Power the collar off and back on. To do this, press and hold the power button until the lights turn off, then release the power button. Wait at least 1 minute, then hold the power button down again until the lights come back on.

  2. Now that the collar has been reset, step outside holding the GPS module (small square with satellite logo) facing upwards.

  3. Open the app and connect to the collar, watch the satellite number next to the battery percentage over the next few minutes.


Please wait about 10-15 minutes. If you begin to see the satellite number rise, your collar has reconnected to the GPS satellites.. If your collar does not regain a satellite connection, please reach out to support at support@spotonfence.com or 603.488.1504.
