First, you’ll need to have an active cellular subscription. If your dog(s) leaves the fence area you will receive a notification on your phone and tracking will be automatically activated. You’ll be able to track your dogs’ locations on the track screen. If your dog returns to the fence area you will also receive a notification and tracking will be turned off.
While your dog is inside the fence area the system provides automatic location updates every 20 minutes. You can also instantly check your dog’s location at any time, which is particularly useful on large properties. Go to the track screen, then tap Refresh Location.
Though you can track multiple dogs, there is currently no way to view multiple dogs at the same time. There are three ways to see multiple dogs:
1. Go to the Dogs screen, go to the dog's card to select the dog, and tap Track.
2. Go to the Track screen, tap the dog’s icon to view the next dog.
3. Go to the Track screen, tap the X at the bottom half of the screen. Swipe up to view a list of your dogs. Tap any dog to view.
You can also manually activate tracking at any time, even while your dog is inside the fence. Go to the track screen, then tap Track. To stop tracking, tap Stop on the track screen.
