What is the sequence of alerts when approaching the boundary? How long does the static correction last?

Modified on Fri, Nov 14 at 1:36 PM

As your dog approaches the boundary that you’ve set, they will receive 2 audible alerts before reaching the static correction/vibration.

The first Alert tone is a high-frequency beeping tone that begins playing 10 feet before reaching the boundary. The second warning tone is a louder and steady tone. The Warning begins playing 5 feet before the boundary.

If your dog makes it through both the Alert and Warning zones, the collar will issue a vibration and/or static correction. If they do not turn around and return to the boundary, the vibration/static correction will last for 10 seconds and then turn off. When your dog decides it is time to come home, the vibration and static correction will NOT issue on the way back in.

The vibration and static correction settings are both optional. Vibration can be turned on or off depending on how your dog reacts to it. The vibration is a similar sensation to your phone vibrating.

Static correction can be turned on or off and has strength settings between 1 and 30 to find the right level for your dog! Static correction is a mild electric stimulation meant to get your dog’s attention and keep them within your boundary.
