What is Manual Feedback?

Manual Feedback allows you to quickly issue commands on-demand, right from your phone. You can now send an Alert, Vibration, or Static Correction to your dog’s SpotOn collar in the Track screen of the SpotOn Fence app. 

With Manual Feedback, you can issue commands to your dog from almost anywhere, whether you’re 10 feet away from your dog in the yard or 10 miles away at work.

Where can I find Manual Feedback?

To manually issue a command to your dog:

1. Open the SpotOn Fence app.

2. Go to the Track screen.

3. Swipe up on the bottom drawer to access the Manual Feedback commands. 

4. Click on the Manual Feedback button. 

5. Select the type of feedback you want to send: Alert, Vibration, or Static.

How do I use Manual Feedback?

Manual Feedback should only be used to reinforce commands that your dog already knows.

• Alert: Plays a sound on the collar. 
• Vibration: Delivers a gentle vibration. 
• Static: Triggers static correction on the collar at the preset level.

We have built Manual Feedback with your dog’s safety in mind. You’ll be prompted to accept a Safety Acknowledgement upon your first time using Manual Feedback. 

There are built-in timing safeguards, including: 4 seconds between Alerts, 2 seconds between Vibrations, and 2 seconds between Static.
